#BLOGANUARY – Name an attraction close to home that you still haven’t got around to visiting. Day 24

#Bloganuary is a month of blog prompts/questons that WordPress uses to get us bloggers off to a good start in the new year.

Day 24 – A local attraction that I haven’t gotten around to visiting?

That has to be the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum in Yorba Linda, California.

I’ve meant to visit there many times since moving south from Los Angeles 10 years ago. It’s nearby, and I DID make a round of local museums and zoos and historic sites in those first few years in Orange County. But I’ve never made the 26 mile trip to see the Nixon Library. (Sad, right?)

AND a couple weeks ago, in honor of Nixon’s birthday, there was free admission.  Darn!  I really must go there soon.
