#Bloganuary is a month of blog prompts/questons that WordPress uses to get us bloggers off to a good start in the new year.
Day 23 – Five fun things for me to do. That’s easy!
1. Traveling
It is fun for me to see and experience and taste new places around the country and the world.
2. Reading
Reading is also fun for me. I read like I travel, favoring mysteries & novels set around the world. After a 22-day Mediterranean cruise, I read a book from every place (country, island, city) we visited including; Gibralter, Majorca, Malta, Trieste, Croatia, and Corfu. So fun, and I met many new authors I like
3. Writing
Like reading, I enjoy writing about places I’ve traveled to. After five short-term visits to Malawi, Africa, I wrote a series of 10 interconnected middle-grade stories about kids in a missionary family living the country.
4. Walking
My big walking challenge began in London, England last spring, when, to see the city and beyond, I walked 109 miles (by my Fitbit). I joined The Conquorer Challenges group, and have continued to walk both in reality and “virtually” around the US and the World. 1,500 miles to date, in less than a year.
5. Enjoying friends
Whether it’s talking about the books we read, having early morning coffee together after a long walk, or singing and fellowshiping with fellow believers in our church, friends are fun.
