#Bloganuary is a month of blog prompts/questons that WordPress uses to get us bloggers off to a good start in the new year.
Day 11 – “Come up with a crazy business idea.” Does the business have to make a lot of money?
I’ve thought about using my yard (taking out all the grass) to grow lots of healthy herbs, using no pesticides or fertilizers. Then I would harvest and dry them, and make herbal tea from unique blends. I would sell the teas in environmentaly safe unbleached paper sacks (or loose leaves) to health stores or websites. Or start my own website and logo. I would market them to nursing moms, the elderly and very young.
Of I would help my Hubby to expand his wooden toy give-away hobby to a money making business. He now makes simple wooden animal and toy shapes for toddlers.
He also makes fun wood + ball toss games, games that refine motor muscle skills, and enclosed marble maze games for older kids. He makes simple to difficult wooden double-sided, jigsaw puzzles. He also makes several difficult marble games (solitaire or with multiple players) for adults.
Teas or toys.
Both?
Neither?
Frankly it all sounds like too much work for a couple of seniors. Maybe just garden and make toys for fun and give it all away.

Lemon Verbena is lovely as a tea, using the fresh leaves. Other crazy business ideas – become a blogger or an author!

I like lemon verbena, a mild cousin of peppermint tea. And I agree, an author is a crazy, but wonderful business, and YOU hand it beautifully. Thanks for reading, Vicky.
