James Ponti is hands down one of the most terrific kids’ books writers out there.  Framed! and Vanished! are the first two in this series, and then this one.    I’m glad he tied up all the loose ends of the first two stories in this stupendous finale. Very satisfying! 

Trapped! is a twisted mystery that only the best friends Florian Bates and Margaret can solve, and wow, did they ever! And thanks to Florian, Margaret also learns who her real parents are.

Between the two sets of parents, the FBI, and the Security operations for the President of the United States, Florian’s brain (and remarkable memory) sizzle. In this book, he and Margaret must save their FBI handler from prison…or worse!  Can they?  It’s a race (running, biking, busing, taxiing, etc.) to the end. Whew. Let me catch my breath.

Brian Holden is a remarkable narrator!
